Hi Everyone,

I have decided to start a blog along with my photography business. I figured it would give my clients the opportunity to get to know me a bit better to determine if they want to choose me as their photographer. I can't wait to get it started!
Some background info about me... My name is Kacie McDonough. I am married to Adam and have 2 beautiful girls. I am a fairly new photographer. I have been photographing semi-professionally for the past two years, but I have loved taking photos as long as I can remember... That "Barbie" camera my mom gave me as a Christmas gift rode everywhere I did on my bicycle as a child! My oldest daughter really gave me the inspiration I needed to make my dream a reality. God gave me the opportunity, courage, wisdom, and ability to make it happen! I thank Him for it every chance I get!
Until October 2008 I am on maternity leave, our beautiful baby girl "Olivia Grayce" arrived on 8-6-08! The only photos I am shooting until I get enough courage to leave her for a few hours, lol, will be her and our 2 year old "Mikayla Lynne". You will probably get sick of only seeing their photos on my site! :) What can I say I do love photography, but my family comes first. I have stop to relax and enjoy some time with my babies! Wonderful for me so far they love the camera and the camera loves my girls!
While I am on maternity leave I am rearranging and updating my website. Look for changes everytime you visit! Any feedback would be great! I love to get my clients input on what they want to see and what they like or dislike about my site. I am also getting some new ideas together for specials. The first one I am offering is a Trash The Dress (TTD) session! I cannot wait to get a fun excited new bride for this one!! They are so awesome, a few photographers I have spoken to suggested this. I had never heard of them at the time. Some of the ideas were not to literally trash the dress but to do things you wouldn't typically do at your wedding. Such as, float in the pool, the ocean, or another body of water in your wedding dress. Sit on the beach, ride the ferris wheel at the fair, ride horseback, or get into whatever interest or hobby you enjoy while wearing your dress. This can also be the opportunity you get if you didn't get a chance to get really creative at your wedding due to lack of time, etc. The first 2 sessions will be free for the 2 lucky girls that contact me first! You'll only pay if you order photos! You are more than welcome to bring the new hubby along or even if you have been married years come on, it will be fun to get back into your dress! It will be a fun experience!
Thanks for reading!!
Kacie
