Bright Eyes and A Handsome Boy

I finally did my first shoot since I came back from maternity leave. I'll admit I was a little nervous. Of course I have taken many many photos while I was out, but only of my children. I was nervous that I might not quite be back into the swing of things, until... I really captured some personality! I got back into the swing of things and the photos were great! I had a handsome little boy(Jack) and a bright eyed little girl (Emily) that got my creativity flowing!
We went down to the pond by their house first and they posed like pros for me! They just had fun and I went along with it!

They are a perfect brother and sister pair! Thanks Jack and Em for doing so well for me!

When the sun started setting we headed back up to their house to get some indoor shots. The sun wasn't quite perfect enough for a full silhouette shot but I did get this one of them holding hands. It has such a meaningful feel about it!

When we got inside Emily just had to show me her instruments. First the piano, then the trumpet, and lastly the guitar.. She was having fun so we went with it! Jack soon joined in on the fun too!

I have photographed them before, so I was very comfortable with them. We had fun and just played around. I'm so excited about the photos and now I cannot wait until my next one! Thanks again Shannon, I love photographing your kids!
